Linda Rivard-Lisitano’s
interest in photography began over 30 years ago, when she
purchased a Pentax K1000 to photograph her children growing
up. From there her passion for photography has grown into
a profitable artist outlet for her work. She uses photography
to express her passion for life and all that is around
her. She admits to still owing and using the K1000, she
purchased so long ago. She is a graduate of the New York
School of Photography, and is currently attending the same
School to for Digital Photography. She travels extensively
in an effort to capture her passions, which include, but
are not limited to Lighthouses and Hot Air Balloons. She
explains, as a photographer, she is able to take a fleeing
moment in time, which may be endearing, sad, happy or a
moment captured by sheer chance and freezes it forever
thus the moment is never forgotten and can be relived and
shared over and over again.
She currently lives in Old Lyme, CT. In addition to the
original K1000, she also uses a Pentax Film, Pentax Digital
and Pentax lenses for her work. |
