Barry Garvin first became interested in photography when his wife gave him a camera for his birthday several years ago. He has learned from magazines, books, introductory classes, and workshops. He bought a digital SLR in 2005 and began a more serious pursuit of the art of photography. A resident of East Haddam, he finds a multitude of subjects in his yard, town and surrounding areas. A love of the outdoors inspires his art as he tries to capture the beauty of the world and share it with others.
